I benefited from complimentary WiFi and private parking, but let's be honest, who needs WiFi when you're surrounded by stunning scenery and who cares about parking when you can just take a leisurely stroll to Bowness-on-Windermere?
Steep stone steps, seriously, who needs functioning legs to get to their accommodation? So overrated.

The holiday home at Upper Oaks in Windermere was so cozy and homely. I absolutely loved the fully equipped kitchen - it made me feel like a master chef! The bathroom with a bath or shower was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just my preference - others might find it perfect!

I had a fantastic stay at Upper Oaks in Windermere. The location was perfect, right in the center of town with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops. The spacious lounge area with a large TV and open plan kitchen was a great space to relax. The free parking at the back of the hotel was convenient and could fit two cars easily. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Windermere.

Great location, clean and comfortable property. Enough crockery and cutlery. Beds were really comfortable with good quality linen/towels. The kitchen had everything needed. Spacious and comfortable house. Just a little walk from the main street. Free parking available. Nice set up and not far from the lake.
Do recommend this hotel.

Right in the center of Windermere, I was able to easily explore the cafes, restaurants, and shops. The apartment itself was spacious and the open plan kitchen and lounge area were very comfortable. The large TV was a bonus and perfect for relaxing after a long day.
One drawback was the lack of mirrors in the bedrooms. It was quite difficult to get ready without a mirror in each room.

We loved being able to easily walk to everything. Free parking was available at the back of the property, which was a great convenience. the apartment's lounge area was spacious and comfortable, with a large TV and a well-equipped kitchen. It was a perfect space to relax after a long day of exploring.
The accessibility to the property could be an issue for the elderly or disabled as there were steep stairs to climb to enter. Another downside was that there was only one bathroom for a maximum of six people, which caused inconvenience at times.

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, with easy access to all the local attractions and amenities. We were able to walk to the main street with all the restaurants and shops in just a few minutes, and the train station was also within a short walking distance. Another great aspect was the fully equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed for cooking meals during our stay. And let's not forget the big screen TV in the living room, it made for some enjoyable movie nights!
There were a few negative aspects of our stay that could have been improved. the cleanliness of the property was not up to our expectations.

The value for the money was excellent, especially considering the spacious and comfortable room with great linens and towels. The location of the hotel was superb, right in the heart of the town with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Windermere lake.
The breakfast menu could have offered more variety, but overall it was a minor setback compared to the excellent experience at this hotel.

It was convenient to have everything within walking distance. The apartment had a nice, spacious lounge area with a huge TV. It was great to relax on the comfortable corner couch after a long day of exploring.- Free parking was available at the back of the property, and we were able to easily fit two cars in the space provided.
The apartment could use some improvements. There were a few issues with accessibility, as the stairs leading up to the property were steep and difficult to navigate, especially for elderly or disabled individuals.
